An interpretation in 12 volumes, of which only the fourth part exists to date, which contains Al-Ma’idah, Al-An’am, and 53 verses from Al-A’raf.
It is an interpretation based on the transmitted sayings of the Companions, the Followers, and the scholars of Arabic, and it contains some Israelite stories. Its most important sources are the interpretation of al-Tha’labi and the simple interpretation of al-Wahidi. The most prominent person who benefited from al-Ghanyan was Abu Hayyan al-Andalusi in his interpretation (al-Bahr al-Muhit).

Najm al-Din Abu al-Nu’man Bashir ibn Hamid al-Shafi’i al-Tabrizi al-Zaynabi
He was born in Ardabil in the year (570 AH). He traveled in search of knowledge and studied under a number of scholars of his time. He settled in Baghdad and took over the teaching of the Nizamiyya School. He held the position of Sheikh of the Holy Mosque of Mecca and supervised its construction for years. He died in Mecca in the year (646 AH) at the age of 76. May God have mercy on him.
